My PET (PErsonal Trainer) at the Gym suggested I started taking whey protein for the extra protein boost. Quite curious about it myself, I googled around and got some information. Apparently it's 100% clear protein extracted from milk and it's used as a nutrition bonus for those strength training. Question is, has anyone here had personal experience with this kind of substance? I'm oblivious. All help appreciated!
I've had it, it's not bad, but personally I don't go for all the processed stuff. I prefer things like cottage cheese or strained yogurt for protein.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried the stuff but I'd presume it'd be much better to just get some protein the natural way. I love milk.
ReplyDeleteArmy dad uses it, so I guess it's a-ok!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about this lately, keep me updated (:
ReplyDeleteMy brother used it for a little while. From what I gather, it works if you're serious about training. Use it for the right reasons and I'm sure it'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteDon't do it unless your body building into your 30s can ruin body tissue so so easily
ReplyDeleteWhey Protein is widely used and recommended by personal trainers, I've never heard any problems with it.
ReplyDeleteI say just eat some bananas :D
ReplyDeleteNever tried it
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I've never had any personal experience with this. Sorry! I'm usually pretty casual with my workouts.
ReplyDeleteI love your Umineko theme!
ReplyDeleteNever trusted really trusted protein shakes just do it the natural way and eat Quinoa

ReplyDeleteWHERES THE GOD DAMN PROTEIN!
ReplyDeletei dunno getting it a normal way seems better
ReplyDeletedon't do it. better just eat more of everything, keep a balanced diet, seriously. you may (you never know what happens) have to stop working out and then you won't look nice.
ReplyDeleteYeah, just eat lots of chicken, and other protein high foods.
ReplyDeleteYeah it helps get you pretty swoll
ReplyDeleteit great it right amounts! just dont over do it! it can be bad for your liver!
ReplyDelete+followed, and yeah this isn't that bad for you...everything in moderation.
ReplyDeleteWhey-hey! lol
ReplyDeleteIt's safe but you should really only use as much as you need for training. Too much aint very good.
ReplyDeleteWhat the whey!! lol
ReplyDeletei heard isolate is better than the other shit. not sure though. followed bro. mirin.
ReplyDeleteit's really great, but you need to be consistent with your work outs if you take this otherwise it's just extra shit put in your body you need to use up.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any experience with these kind of things, but i hear from people they do work...
ReplyDeleteno experience man, but it should be ok... it's not like taking some steroids
ReplyDeleteit's good for getting the protein you need with very little else and helps if you want to gain mass, but it's not very tasty. try the tea kind it's alright

I might want to get some of this for myself eventually. Will keep my eyes peeled and see if I can buy it here.
ReplyDeleteIt's, just like you said, milk protein. Not a magical muscle builder greater than other animal forms of protein. (Perhaps cheaper per gram, though)
ReplyDeleteThat said, some double chocolate or strawberry powder in a post-workout shake is uhmazing<3
Just mix it with a drink such as milk or nesquik. It'll taste quite bad, but itll give your drink more thickness to it so you might like it in the long run :3 Remember to work out as well tho, it isnt some sort or black magic...
ReplyDeletePlease check out my blog too!
Dont think all this protein booster crap is needed, just eat normally or some more if you want some extra protein. Just have a glass of chocolate milk.
ReplyDeleteas long as you burn that shite in the gym
ReplyDeleteWhey Protein is heavy and very effective for Muscle Mass Gaining, however if not "burnt" out effectively, can lead to major health issues if used over a long period of time
ReplyDeleteIt's fine dude.
ReplyDeletejust take a multi and lift heavy
ReplyDeleteI've heard that if you do take this stuff, you have to keep working out or else it all turns to fat.
ReplyDeleteAfter an hour or longer workout, I finish with a glass of milk with protein. I find these mixes taste a lot better with milk instead of water, and the milk is a lot more beneficial.
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of people that use whey protein and they swear by it. Let us know how it works for you! +Follow
ReplyDeleteI love milk. Taste good man. Whey protein is good, but just like any other thing in this world, too much isnt a good thing.
ReplyDeleteAnyways its been too long since I've said this but much love and support to ya man.
Have a super week !!!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried stuff like that. Maybe I should some time.
