World of Warcraft hockey jerseys. What next?
Blizzard has found yet another way to advertise its internationally successful mmorpg World of Warcraft, this time monetizing it through hockey jerseys. Yes, that's right, World of Warcraft hockey jerseys are currently in production and come into two different colors/symbols combinations: A red one with the symbol of The Horde, and a blue one worn by those who support The Alliance. Of course, those nice pieces of cloth cost about 150$ each.
Which side will you take, guys? Me? I find it absurd to spent such an amount of money for one piece of cloth, so I'll pass.

My god, initially the idea of people sporting their WoW faction on a jersey as though it was a sport is bad enough, however for Blizzard to charge $150 for it? It's things like this that make me very glad I'm not an addict of any MMORPG like WoW.
ReplyDelete$150!? :|
ReplyDeleteWTF? I don't like WOW that much.
ReplyDeleteat those prices, i will say neither. ;)
ReplyDeletebtw, the Obama posters aren't mine, so you can print as many as you want. :D

ReplyDeleteI like video game shirts as much as the next guy, but this is just...no....

ReplyDeleteDamn, 150 bucks? Double fail really if someone buys one of these imo
ReplyDeletethey're pretty awesome looking, especially the horde jersy. but i can't justify spending 150 on them
ReplyDeleteHow about a warcraft hockey team?
ReplyDeleteor a WoW hockey league with just horde vs alliance :P
ReplyDeleteHa great idea; I'd wear one if I still played, but not for $150!

ReplyDeleteLOL I play wow and i play ice hockey :) wouldnt pay 150 for it but if it was cheaper i would :P
DeleteLol.. I guess there could be hockey fans.. Either way if I really had to buy one it'd be Horde all the way.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't spend a single cent on any of those, let alone $150.
ReplyDeleteI knew there was a reason I quit playing after a couple months (and this was back when it was first released). The sad part is there are probably thousands who've already ordered one. I have some gaming merch, but I don't think any of it was over like $30.
