Lorem Ipsum

I came across Lorem Ipsum today. Anyone else who thinks it's ingenious?

"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Etiam rhoncus libero eu lectus interdum pellentesque. Nunc dolor augue, placerat vel mollis ac, lobortis eget sapien. Sed vel dui neque, ac vestibulum enim. Fusce mauris justo, pellentesque ac congue ut, euismod at justo. Suspendisse vitae ornare lorem. Pellentesque placerat mollis lacus id gravida. Cras tristique, risus vitae feugiat fermentum, mauris libero vehicula nisl, eget venenatis metus sem quis mauris. Proin vel ultrices velit. Maecenas iaculis neque quis velit vulputate gravida. Morbi fermentum viverra ligula, ac commodo dui ultricies id. Aliquam eget eros nisl. Integer pretium blandit nunc, quis sollicitudin lacus vulputate sed. Maecenas sit amet lorem at est commodo auctor."

  3. Please post it translated as well. I almost understand what Lorem Ipsum means, so I'd really like an example so that I know if I've gotten it right :)

  4. Latin, probably the most fascinating "dead language" around the World.

    Nice post.

  5. English: Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?

  6. It's a pretty good invention, it really does look like a full post of text so it's very convenient for testing websites etc.

Also the english version is actually a pretty good read.
